Mallory International is the Regional Winner for the South West UK of the ‘Global Britain’ category of the 2024 British Chambers of Commerce Business Awards.

Sophie Hardinge-Walsh, managing director of MI, explains the background to this win - which means that Mallory will now enter the finals of the national business awards: 

To outline the process:

• We applied for the Devon & Plymouth Chamber Awards 2024 and were thrilled to win Global Player of the Year back in May!
• As winners, we were invited to apply for the British Chambers of Commerce Business Awards in June. We entered the Global Britain Business of the Year category, supported by UK Export Finance.
• Earlier this month, we received the exciting news that we made the shortlist for the British Chamber Business Awards! Here’s how it works: the 52 accredited chambers across the UK submit their nominees, which are then reviewed by a panel of judges. From those nominees, 20 businesses in our category made it to the shortlist for the Regionals.
• Today, it’s official – we are the Regional Winners for the Chamber Business Awards 2024 in the Southwest! This region includes six County Chambers: Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Business West, and Thames Valley. We were chosen from among them to represent the region.
• Now, we’re up against the winners from the other 10 regions, with national winners being announced on Thursday, 17 October!
